Let’s help the right people find you — the honest way

I’m a one-desk SEO studio for B2B SaaS and professional-service teams. No spammy links, no keyword soup — just a clear map, a fixed-up site, and long-form writing that earns traffic worth having.

Why I started Foothold

I got tired of watching good companies buy bad traffic

I spent years inside agencies where “SEO” meant chasing vanity numbers and thin blog posts nobody read. Foothold is my answer to that — a small studio that treats organic like a garden, not a slot machine. I take on a limited number of clients so I can actually know your product, your buyers, and the words they type at 2am.

Everything here is written and audited by the same hands that pitched you. When you email, I answer. When a page ranks, I can tell you exactly why.

— from my desk in south OKC

Traffic you rent disappears. Rankings you earn compound.

The whole Foothold philosophy, in one line

How the work actually goes

A slow, deliberate climb

01

Listen & read the terrain

Before a single word gets written, I sit with your sales team and your analytics. I want to know which deals close, what objections come up, and where you already win — that’s where the real keywords hide.

02

Fix the ground first

Fast content on a broken site is wasted effort. I clear the technical blockers — crawl issues, slow templates, thin pages, messy internal links — so everything published afterward has a solid footing.

03

Publish, measure, adjust

Long-form pieces go out on a steady cadence, each mapped to a buyer’s question. Every month I show you what moved, what didn’t, and what we change next. No black boxes, no “trust the process.”

Who you’ll actually work with

Founder · Strategy & writing

Dana Whitlow

I run the strategy, the audits, and most of the writing. Fifteen years in and I still open every client’s Search Console myself on a Monday morning — it’s the closest thing I have to a ritual.

Marisol Reyes

Marisol pressure-tests every draft against the actual search intent and fact-checks the specifics. If a sentence could’ve been written about any company, she cuts it — which is exactly why our content reads like a person wrote it.

Let’s map a plan for you

Send a few details and I’ll come back within two business days with a straight answer — where the opportunity is, which package fits, and a real number. No slide deck, no pressure.

I read every message myself — usually the same week.

What happens after you reach out

From “hello” to first draft

Here’s the honest sequence, so you know what you’re signing up for before you sign anything.

Get the ball rolling
1

A real conversation

A 30-minute call — no pitch. I ask about your product, your buyers, and what “growth” actually means for your revenue.

2

A scoped proposal

Within a few days you get a fixed-scope plan and price. You’ll know exactly what’s included and what it costs — nothing kicks off until you say yes.

3

The Trail Map audit

Every engagement opens with a full crawl and keyword map, so the first month is spent fixing footing, not guessing.

4

Content starts flowing

Drafts arrive on a predictable cadence, each mapped to a buyer question, edited by Marisol, and ready to publish or hand to your team.

5

We read the results together

Every month you get a plain-language recap of what moved and what we change next — and you can pause or leave with 30 days’ notice, always.

Ready when you are
